Collaboration between the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare professionals

By successfully implementing the Code on Data Disclosure, we can improve the relationship between the industry, healthcare organizations, and healthcare professionals in a way that ultimately benefits the patients whose well-being is the focus of all these stakeholders.

Collaboration and relationships between healthcare professionals/organizations and the industry are subject to strict regulations and the requirement that all parties adhere to high ethical standards. EFPIA/iF! The Code on Data Disclosure will strengthen the transparency of these relationships and ensure that collaboration between the industry and healthcare professionals/organizations is clearly understood by all stakeholders in the healthcare sector and the public.

As individuals in direct contact with patients, healthcare professionals can offer invaluable expertise and knowledge about patient responses and disease treatment. Therefore, it is extremely important for the industry to collaborate regularly with healthcare professionals and organizations. The pharmaceutical industry bases its efforts to improve patient care and treatment methods on these insights.

Regardless of their different roles in the healthcare sector, healthcare professionals, healthcare organizations, and the pharmaceutical industry share a common goal: improving patient treatment outcomes. These groups work together to achieve this goal, and their relationships should be based on a strong and transparent framework.
