EFPIA\/iF! believes that collaboration between the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare professionals has a significant and positive impact on the quality of patient-centered therapeutic procedures and on the value of future research. At the same time, the independence of healthcare professionals in making decisions regarding the prescription or recommendation of a medicine represents one of the fundamental requirements of the healthcare system. <\/p>\n

EFPIA\/iF! is aware that relationships between pharmaceutical manufacturers and healthcare professionals can potentially lead to suspicions of conflicts of interest, and in recent years there have been increasing demands for greater transparency in these relationships. Therefore, EFPIA\/iF! and its members \u2014 associations and pharmaceutical manufacturers \u2014 have adopted codes and guidelines to ensure adherence to high ethical standards, in line with the expectations of patients, the state or public sector, and other participants in the healthcare system. <\/p>\n
