Each new study, when it comes to the hundreds of diseases referred to as cancer, seems to reveal increasing complexity and challenges in their treatment.<\/h3>\n

The diagnosis of a malignant disease can have a devastating effect on the individual facing it, as well as on their family and caregivers. Advances in the research and development of therapeutic options witnessed in recent years have enabled progress in prevention, earlier diagnosis, and better treatment outcomes for many patients.<\/p>\n

However, there are still significant unmet medical needs. Each new study, when it comes to the hundreds of diseases referred to as cancer, seems to reveal increasing complexity and challenges in their treatment.<\/p>\n
